What this document is

แบบแจ้งคนต่างด้าวทำงานในมูลนิธิ สมาคม องค์กรสาธารณกุศล is a one-page letter from a Thai foundation, association or public charity to the Immigration Bureau (Sub-Division 2, Bangkok Immigration Division). The organisation explains that a foreigner stays in Thailand temporarily to work with it and describes that person and the work done.

It is used when a foreigner extends their stay to work for a foundation or NGO — staff, volunteers, missionaries. The form is in Thai only; check with the immigration office what else is required.

Who fills it in and signs

  • the foundation, association or charity fills it in;
  • it is signed by the person authorised to act for the organisation and stamped with its seal by hand;
  • it is submitted with the foreigner's application at the immigration office.

What the form asks for

  • place and date of the letter (Thai month name, Buddhist Era year);
  • name of the organisation;
  • the foreigner: name, age, nationality, current duties, address in Thailand;
  • whether the foreigner receives income and how much per month;
  • highest education: degree, field, university, country;
  • the last three months: period, position and up to five items of work performed;
  • the organisation's objectives, why it needs this foreigner, number of Thai and foreign staff.

Documents usually attached

  • the foreigner's application (for example TM.7 for an extension of stay);
  • registration documents and charter of the organisation;
  • the work permit, if the foreigner has one, and other documents the office requests.

The exact list and fees depend on the office and the type of application — check them with immigration.
